Building Permit/Contractor Information

PERMIT PORTAL

You can now submit your building permit application and register as a contractor on this portal. If you prefer you can print out the PERMIT APPLICATION and email/mail/drop off at our office.

All contractors  performing work in the Village of Hodgkins will need to register. At this time there is no fee for registration.  You can register online via our portal or you can print our the CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION FORM and email the required documents listed below:

• A current copy of Contractors License from any major city located within the State of Illinois.
• A Contractors Certificate of Insurance with the Village of Hodgkins as additionally insured.
• A $10,000 Bond with the Village of Hodgkins as additionally insured.
• A copy of the Electricians License and Certificate of Insurance naming the Village of Hodgkins as additionally insured.
• A copy of the Plumbers License and a Certificate of Insurance naming the Village of Hodgkins as additionally insured.
• Any Sub-Contractor working on a project needs to submit a copy of a license and a Certificate of Insurance naming the Village of Hodgkins as additionally insured.
